Chicken curry

1 chicken (or chicken pieces/breasts)
½ cup oil
3 onions, chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped
½ tsp Kashmiri Mirch (chilli powder)
1 tbsp MDH Chicken Masala
½ cup natural yogurt
¼ cup water
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt

  1. Skin, trim and cut into 8 pieces the chicken
  2. Heat the oil in a pan
  3. Fry the chopped onions till golden
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and Kashmiri Mirch
  5. Stir well
  6. Add the masala and salt to taste
  7. Stir for 2-3 minutes
  8. Add the chicken pieces
  9. Fry for 10 minutes
  10. Add the yogurt and water
  11. Mix well
  12. Reduce to low heat
  13. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking
  14. Add the lemon juice
  15. Stir and serve
