1 chicken (or chicken pieces/breasts)
½ cup oil
3 onions, chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped
½ tsp Kashmiri Mirch (chilli powder)
1 tbsp MDH Chicken Masala
½ cup natural yogurt
¼ cup water
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt
- Skin, trim and cut into 8 pieces the chicken
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Fry the chopped onions till golden
- Add the chopped tomatoes and Kashmiri Mirch
- Stir well
- Add the masala and salt to taste
- Stir for 2-3 minutes
- Add the chicken pieces
- Fry for 10 minutes
- Add the yogurt and water
- Mix well
- Reduce to low heat
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking
- Add the lemon juice
- Stir and serve
