250g/8 oz mushrooms, washed
2 onions
1 clove garlic
1 large tomato
oil for frying
250g/8 oz. frozen peas
½ tsp. turmeric
½ tsp. garam masala
¼ tsp. chilli powder
pinch salt
- Slice mushrooms thinly
- Slice onions finely
- Peel and chop tomato
- Fry onions in oil until pale gold and soft
- Add crushed garlic and spices. Fry for few minutes.
- Add chopped tomato and mushrooms
- Stir and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add peas and a little water
- Simmer for 10 more minutes.
