Spiced peas & mushrooms
250g/8 oz mushrooms, washed
2 onions
1 clove garlic
1 large tomato
oil for frying
250g/8 oz. frozen peas
½ tsp. turmeric
½ tsp. garam masala
¼ tsp. chilli powder
pinch salt

  1. Slice mushrooms thinly
  2. Slice onions finely
  3. Peel and chop tomato
  4. Fry onions in oil until pale gold and soft
  5. Add crushed garlic and spices.  Fry for few minutes.
  6. Add chopped tomato and mushrooms
  7. Stir and fry for 5 minutes.
  8. Add peas and a little water
  9. Simmer for 10 more minutes.
